A Country Songwriter Criticizes by a Simple Question- Has Everyone Lost Their Minds?

Wynn Varble, a country music songwriter who has collaborated with Garth Brooks, Trace Adkins, and Brad Paisley, is one of the most active performers in the field.

Varble makes the claim that “wokeness” is devouring America from inside in a new song titled “I’m Just Sayin’.” Austin Moody, a budding sensation, sang the tune.

They describe themselves as enlightened but dismiss anyone who disagree, according to the song’s lyrics, which run, “I wish all these people who call themselves woke would just go back to sleep.”

“I’m just sayin’ Have we all lost our minds?” the song continues. Just wondering where to draw the line. I am aware that you believe I have balls, but I am only singing what you are contemplating.

Radical left-wing social activity has frequently been referred to as being “woke” in recent years.

Nashville, according to Varble, “has been turning a little more to the left over the last couple of decades.”

He said, “I don’t have a problem with any of these people — I mean, we’re all Americans, right?”

“But the main issue is when they impose their ideas on us. They attempt to tell you who to love and how to feel, yet they make up a very small portion of the population. It doesn’t feel right, declared Varble.

Arble created the song out of a desire to express his view that it is improper for culture to aim to appease “a small portion of the population.”

The term “wokeness” has its roots in the African American community, where it was first used to refer to those who were conscious of and actively opposed to racism. However, in recent years, a larger group of individuals, including white liberals and progressives, have embraced the phrase.

In recent years, “Wokeness” has drawn a lot of criticism from Americans who see it as an outward manifestation of political correctness that is limiting free expression and fundamental liberties.

‘Have We All Lost Our Minds?’ was posted. The article Country Songwriter Criticizes Wokeness With a Simple Question originally appeared on America Insider.
